“As Project Development Coordinator at Great River Learning, I worked with Instructor Daniels to establish a sound pedagogical design for the Pathways to Allied Health: A Learning-Centered Approach to General, Organic and Biochemistry publication. We identified learning outcomes, various types of content, including text, third-party readings, videos, interactive exercises to reinforce core concepts, ways to address and measure those learning outcomes, and assessments and assignments to determine the degree to which students had met the previously identified learning outcomes. His understanding of approaches to the principles of biochemistry as they relate to allied health combined with his vision to create an interactive learning-centered digital publication that engaged students more effectively than existing traditional textbooks made him a natural fit for an authoring partner with GRL.”
